- 2 cups Krusteaz pancake mix
- 1 1/2 cups cold water or milk (for richer batter)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your waffle maker according to manufacturer’s instructions and lightly grease if needed.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together Krusteaz pancake mix and cold water until smooth.
- Add vegetable oil, eggs, and if desired, sugar and vanilla extract. Stir just until combined.
- Pour batter into the preheated waffle maker, close lid, and cook 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
- Carefully remove waffles and serve warm with your favorite toppings like syrup, fruit, or powdered sugar.
Notes
For crispier waffles, add a little extra oil and cook slightly longer. Customize by adding chocolate chips, blueberries, or cinnamon to the batter. Store cooled waffles in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze up to 2 months.
