Description

Fruity Pebbles Ice Cream is a nostalgic, creamy dessert that blends the fruity crunch of your favorite childhood cereal with a velvety ice cream base. Perfect for kids and adults alike!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup Fruity Pebbles cereal
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/3 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk in a small saucepan until it just begins to simmer. Turn off the heat and stir in the Fruity Pebbles. Let steep for 10 minutes.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to remove the cereal. Discard the soggy cereal.
  3. In a blender, combine the cereal-infused milk, heavy cream, egg yolks, and sugar. Blend until smooth.
  4. Chill the blended mixture in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
  5. Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer instructions.
  6. Serve immediately as soft serve or transfer to a loaf pan, cover with plastic wrap, and freeze until firm.

Notes

Try swapping the Fruity Pebbles with other cereals like Cocoa Pebbles or Fruit Loops. Make ice cream sandwiches with Fruity Pebble cookies, or top with more cereal, strawberry sauce, or melted white chocolate for extra flair.
